INTRAMOENIA EXTRA ART/WATERSHED FINAL EVENT IN BRUSSELS Tuesday, April 9, 2013, 18:30 – Istituto Italiano di Cultura
THE ISTITUTO ITALIANO DI CULTURA in Brussels hosts the final event of INTRAMOENIA EXTRA ART/WATERSHED, a multidisciplinary project, which ranked first in the Culture Programme of the European Commission, aimed at producing contemporary art by playing on the theme of “water” and on exchanges between Italy and Northern Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden). The event will be introduced by the Governor of Apulia Region Nichi Vendola and will be attended by the promoters of the initiative and the participating artists. In the auditorium, at 18:30, the evening will start with the projection of the video by Sarah Ciracì, featuring a visionary interpretation of the fil rouge of WATERSHED through Maurice Nio, Filippo Timi, Nichi Vendola’s acting performances dedicated to water. A different cultural, geographical and social dimension, conveyed through the fluid metaphor of Watershed and the Intramoenia Extra Art successful model of a diffuse temporary museum.
