A Tribute to Cross-Border Collaboration and the European Capital of Culture GO! 2025 – Gorizia & Nova Gorica

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Brussels and the Italian Cultural Institute are pleased to invite you to a special concert celebrating the shared cultural heritage of Slovenia and Italy, marking the closing of the European Capital of Culture 2025 – GO! Gorizia/Nova Gorica, in Brussels.

The event will take place on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 19:00, at the Italian Cultural Institute, beginning with welcome remarks by H.E. Barbara Sušnik, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, and Consul Isidoro Nigri, Italian Embassy in Belgium.

This unique evening will feature an exceptional ensemble of Slovenian and Italian musicians based in Brussels and beyond, performing a carefully curated selection of chansons and timeless classics from both countries. The concert is a symbolic tribute to artistic collaboration and the spirit of European unity, embodying the idea of cultural dialogue “beyond borders.”

Following the concert, guests are warmly invited to a reception featuring a selection of Slovenian and Italian wines – a convivial opportunity to celebrate the friendship and cultural collaboration between the two nations.
